Someone, whether it be a friend or a total stranger, has fallen asleep on you wherever you happen to be; you are a rather comfortable pillow to them.

[She had her doubts; it wasn't that she trusted him...but something like this practically went against his character.]

If it keeps the Team alive, yeah.

[Though there's a slight pang of guilt-- what if their not going means Klarion goes on some crazy hurt-everyone-and-everything spree?]

[She feels guilty too. Much as it would ease her worries to avoid the self-proclaimed Lord of Chaos altogether...could she really ask something like that of him? Of the team?]

Why doesn't this feel right, either?

Probably because we couldn't ignore him if we found him. A Lord of Chaos doesn't sound like kind of guy who will just hang around and not get up to anything.

No plan now. But if what you saw really is the future, we know all of his moves before he does. That's a start.

[She thought about this for a long moment. He had a point; even in her "dreams", the same thing happened each time. Including the enemy's attacks.]

Each time, his attacks seemed oddly specific. Especially for somebody like him.

...we're the only team members without powers. Which makes us easy targets for someone like him.

And satisfying.

He know I'm closer to the two of you than the others.

Which means he's also trying to throw you off-balance-- you're the biggest threat to him.

My magic couldn't even touch him last time.

But even still. If I train, maybe one day I could stand a chance.

[Her smile is still sad, but no less genuine as she lets her eyes trace over every outline of his face. Like she were committing him to memory.]

[Right in the middle of this, she yawned.]

[He just keeps smiling. If she's going to memorize his face, he might as well be wearing a smile.

He notices the yawning.]

I think the tea is kicking in.
