Someone, whether it be a friend or a total stranger, has fallen asleep on you wherever you happen to be; you are a rather comfortable pillow to them.

Do you let them sleep or abruptly wake them up?

[It wasn't an unlikely situation. Maybe they watched too movies, stayed up too late or maybe all those steak bowls finally got to Chie. Either way she had found a nice resting spot. Albeit said spot was alive and was her best friend.]

[fans_fire]

[In fairness, it had been a long day. Usually it happened that it was the other way around, that Yukiko would fall asleep on Chie, but she didn't mind. It meant she could protect Chie for once.

And so for now she simply sits, resting her head against Chie's as she half-watches the movie they're in the middle of]

[winterkicker]

[She leans heavier on Yukiko as she falls deeper into her sleep. The movie is just background noise; it registers but barely. So she just sighs in her sleep. It feels good, sleeping there.]

[fans_fire]

[Yukiko shifts a little, finding something to lean against so she can support Chie's weight a little better. She's not about to disturb her friend if she's this tired]

[winterkicker]

[Chie continues sleeping, barely aware that she moved. The only movement is a small twitch that might be coming from a faint dream.]</small.

[fans_fire]

[Yukiko continues to hold her, lightly brushing some hair from her face. She knows really she should wake Chie so she could sleep somewhere properly but she's just a little too comfortable with the way they are now]

[winterkicker]

[She feels the touch, even if she is a deep sleeper. It doesn't wake her up, though. She just continues dreaming of an endless run through the TV. Probably inspired by the movie still on, she twitches in her sleep as the fight between her and the dream Shadows continue.]

[fans_fire]

[As she notes the twitching, Yukiko misinterprets and assumes the noise of the film is disturbing Chie. And so she reaches for the remote, silence falling as she switches off the movie.]

[winterkicker]

[The new silence isn't as peaceful as it should be. She mutters in her sleep one word.] Persona... [The dream Shadows were still winning but she's not giving up just yet.]

[fans_fire]

[Yukiko smiles. It doesn't surprise her that Chie's a fighter even in her sleep]

You get them, Chie.

[Her voice is soft - she's not expecting a response]

[winterkicker]

[That seems to settle her down. She smiles in her sleep; the Shadows have been defeated.]

[As Chie settles down, Yukiko fights to suppress a yawn of her own. She rests her head against Chie's once more, closing her eyes and just enjoying the peace]
