the fell asleep on meme!

"i just need to rest my eyes"

Someone, whether it be a friend or a total stranger, has fallen asleep on you wherever you happen to be; you are a rather comfortable pillow to them.

Do you let them sleep or abruptly wake them up?

hello! c: sort of random, but i couldn't resist the negotiator meeting the sage of wisdom.

[Have an exhausted Jedi Master dozing quietly against your shoulder, Zelda. Rest assured, if he were awake he'd have all of the flustered apologies ever for such an un-Jedi like lack of observation of personal space, but for now he's going to keep on napping quietly.]
sageprincess: (Cordial curiosity)

so I might have made a slightly inhuman noise at seeing this omg obi wan *^*

[Oh. Well. Huh. Even the most vigilant need their rest sometimes, though she would think a bed far more comfortable than her shoulder.

So, quietly, she sets aside whatever it what that she was doing (reading, lyre playing, something like that most likely), tilting her head to regard him. Her voice is kept soft, in hopes that she doesn't startle him.]

Sir...?
cautiouswords: robins @ ij.com ((surprised) Really?)

likewise! <:

[After a beat of silence, Obi-Wan blinks his eyes open and looks up at the Princess. Woozy as he is, it doesn't take long for the Jedi to take stock of the situation.]

...Oh. [He groggily starts the process of righting himself.] Uh.

I'm sorry, I don't usually–– [He starts, a little flustered.] I haven't kept you long, have I?

sageprincess: (Radiant elegance)

AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD YOU MAY BE COMING TO ANIMUS. yes, good. |3c

[personal profile] sageprincess 2012-04-27 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[She just... smiles, gentle and forgiving despite being just a bit awkward.]

Do not fret; it is all right. And no, you have not, though I thought perhaps you might wish to find somewhere more agreeable to rest your head. I cannot imagine my shoulder to be that comfortable.
cautiouswords: robins @ ij.com ((attentive) Hooded and conversing)

I really hope so!! o 3o Animus looks like a lot of fun, ngl

[His mouth curls into an apologetic, but nonetheless lighthearted, smile.]

You'd be surprised how little one's surroundings matter in the depths of deep meditation.

[A little sigh.] Thank you, though, for the kind wake up; I do appreciate it.
sageprincess: (Bittersweet farewells)

It isss. ouo And having Obi Wan there will be ten kinds of epic.

If it is anything like the exhaustion one feels after several nights with little rest, then I believe I have an idea.

[Running from evil kings hardly gives one much time for relaxation, after all. She nods, in acceptance of the gratitude.]

You are most welcome. I am well aware of the effect startling someone can have.
cautiouswords: robins @ ij.com ((neutral) Calm conversation)

A-aw. I'll do my best!!

[personal profile] cautiouswords 2012-04-28 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
There certainly are, er, more pleasant ways to wake up, [he agrees, and then pauses to consider Zelda politely. From the way she speaks, her formal bearing, and her mentions of restless nights, he can only guess that she's a politician of some sort, or someone of otherwise considerable importance. In this way, she reminds him a little of Padmé–– but perhaps with a little less of the Nabooan senator's outspokenness. The thought brings the gentlest of smiles to the Jedi's face.]

Well, I.. suppose the least I can do after falling asleep on you is introduce myself. [He offers a respectful nod.] My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi. And you are?
sageprincess: (Momentary peace)

I BELIEVEEE o9!!

[personal profile] sageprincess 2012-04-29 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Her own smile grows just a bit in return, mostly in lighthearted amusement at the situation. But nevertheless, she bows her head in greeting.]

I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule. It is a pleasure to meet you, Obi-Wan, despite the odd circumstances.

[Seriously, she's fairly certain this is a first. But hey, at least he seems polite.]

[personal profile] cautiouswords 2012-04-29 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Your Highness. [At the mention of Hyrule, the Jedi's curiosity visibly piques.]

...Although I'm afraid I've never heard of Hyrule; What star system is it located in?

[Because everyone and everything is part of the Galactic Republic right.]

[...

... que.]

Ah... my apologies, I am afraid I am unfamiliar with such a term. "Star system"...?

[Obi Wan, she is stuck in medieval stasis. Have fun with that.]
cautiouswords: robins @ ij.com ((neutral) Calm conversation)

incoming casual mind blowing explanation...!! sorry zelda orz

[personal profile] cautiouswords 2012-04-29 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, er... [It's always a little strange -although not entirely uncommon– to come upon someone who doesn't know about star systems and the unfathomable dark expanse that is space.]

It's the word used to describe the collections of planets and stars associated with a particular galaxy. Galaxies in turn make up the universe, which holds an infinite number of stars, planets and open space in itself.

It's... all quite vast and complex, as you might imagine.
